I've decided to write short reviews for all my SONY equipment. I am going to start with the A9. This camera was the reason why I switched from Canon to SONY, which cost me an unbelievable amount of money. My last Canon camera was the 1DX II. It was undoubtedly a great camera, but it was too great - heavy and loud like a monster. Definitely too big and heavy for me. So I knew I had to downsize to a smaller and lighter camera, but which one? Canon had the 5D IV, a decent camera, but SONY announced a firmware update for the A9 with animal eye tracking. It caught my attention, and because there was a sale on the A9 with an FE mount adapter, I decided to give it a try. I thought I could try it and sell it with minimal financial loss.
